Core De Force Results and Review

I did not do a week by week results post for Core De Force because I wanted to wait till the end and give my results and opinion. First of all, Core De Force is my freakin’ soul mate program. I LOVE IT!!! The focus of Core De Force is on your core, total body strength and conditioning. My results have been incredible and I love that I haven’t used any equipment at all. I am beyond impressed with my results and the overall program. I went in with the goal of losing the 10 pounds that I had gained after the miscarriage that I suffered this past fall. I did not get all the way there but almost. It was also the holidays, weight loss over the holidays?? Yes!!!

I did the entire 30 Days of Core De Force by following the supplied meal guide, drinking Shakeology daily and healthy snack options. It was the holidays so I did have a few treats here and there. I was able to stay track minus a few meals over the 30 days of Core De Force.

This upcoming Monday January 9th, I will starting over with Day 1 using the Deluxe Core De Force version. This version adds in some new workouts like MMA Kick Butt, Agility Strength and Agility Power. I can not wait to try them and these ones also utilize the Agility ladder that comes in the deluxe pack! Another awesome part is that Beachbody on Demand has released 2 new workouts MMA Speed 2.0 and MMA Shred 2.0. I will swap these out instead of the regular version and I am sure my results will get even better!! I love that I can create a new schedule for my second round. Nothing worse than getting bored with your routine.

Since the holidays are now over, it is time for me to forget about temptations and get back on track. This Friday I will be kick starting my after holidays group by doing the 3 Day Refresh with a half-dozen other ladies from my group. The 3 Day Refresh is a cleanse that is low-calorie and still keeps you pretty satisfied. I will update you with my results from that! I feel pretty gross after the holidays and I have been looking forward to resetting my system.

Getting out of my routine does not make my body happy! I enjoyed the holidays but it is time to get things going properly and get back to my routine. We have no events planned or trips for the next upcoming month. That means I have an opportunity to really tackle Core De Force 100% for the next 4 weeks. I enjoyed that holidays and I always make room for balance in my life. If you do not have balance you will not stick with it!!

I am so excited to share my results with you and I have been making some crazy progress in  my core and on the scale. I have a 2.5 year old and she was a c-section baby, my core needs some work! With that being said my core will never be perfect but I am trying to get it as good as it can be. I am so proud of my progress with Core De Force!

21 Day Fix results from week 1!!! I have done the program before and loved it. I lost 15 pounds doing the extreme version after having Emma. I have had a rough few months and decided to re-do 21 Day Fix to re-set my body.

In August we found out that we were pregnant with our second baby. Most of August I spent nauseous and with little energy. I was not consistent with my workouts or with eating clean. This was also how most of September looked too. Then in the 3rd week of September we went for our first Ultra Sound and found out we had a missed miscarriage, the baby had stopped growing but my body still thought it was pregnant.

The last month was filled with physical and emotional complications from the missed miscarriage and then an incomplete miscarriage. Last week I was ready to start trying to get back on track and lose the 15 pounds that I had gained since the beginning of August. I knew that 21 Day Fix was a great place to start!

Since I had been down this road before, I knew what to expect food and exercise wise. The great thing about the 21 Day Fix and also the biggest misconception is that you think you will always be hungry. I never feel hungry on this plan. I always start with breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and sometimes even an evening snack. That is depending on how late I have dinner.

The most common questions I hear is: “Do I have to finish all of the food?” That is a good sign right?

What about cravings? I used to crave sugar a lot. This has all changed after I started drinking Shakeology. Specifically, vegan chocolate shakeology. I love this stuff. It has been life changing for me. It keeps me satisfied and tricks me into thinking that I had indulged in something bad! I switched to vegan because the regular version was giving me belly bloat.

The weekend is my biggest struggle because we normally like to have some red wine on Friday and Saturday nights. The amazing part is that 21 Day Fix lets you drink wine!!! or the cocktail of your choice. It is all in the program, this is why it is easier to stick to than any other plan I have ever done.

Slow Cooker Slim down: 5 Day Free Group

I am beyond excited to be hosting a FREE Slow Cooker Group that starts on November 7th!! I will be providing a 5 day meal plan including slow cooker dinner recipes and workout tips, and it is completely FREE!!! This will be an amazing opportunity for you to begin your clean eating/fitness journey or help you with new ideas for your current plan.

This being fall and with winter coming, the slow cooker is the most used appliance in my house. I will be featuring all of my favorite slow cooker recipes and family favorites. This slow cooker group will be 5 days in length and will include dinner recipes for all 5 days. One of the best things about slow cooker meals is that you can take the left overs and freeze them!

New Years Resolution Time!! New Year, Better You!!

New Years Resolution Time! So I have not written a post in the last week, we were traveling a lot over the holidays. We flew to Texas for 5 days, flew back home for one night, drove 8 hours to Toronto stayed 5 days and drove 8 hours back home. We are crazy! The holidays were over so quickly and it was amazing but exhausting. I am so glad to get back into a routine.

I can not believe it is 2016! Being a New Year, it is time to set goals for the next 12 months. I have been sitting back and asking myself: What do I want to accomplish in 2016?

I know that something that is always on the top of that list is: health and fitness. At this point in my life that is really a huge priority for me. The last month has been hard and I am ready to recommit and get back to my regular life. I need my energy back and I know the only way to get there is living a healthy life.

This is the year that not only have I decided to recommit but my husband has decided to make a promise to me that he will commit to changing his health as well. Like a lot of people, we were in the best shape before getting married and maybe my very best shape for our wedding. We then got a little relaxed on things and once our daughter arrived, exercise kind of took a back seat to everything else.

It was last Christmas after our first holidays with Emma that I had looked at the pictures and saw my weight creeping up there and I did not like the way I was starting to look. I started doing the slim in 6 program and it helped a little but I did not follow it 100%. Then I decided to join Beachbody and do the 21 Day Fix. This was a game changer for me. I actually decided to fully invest in the 21 Days, no cheat days, no wine on the weekends and it was hard. I knew that if I pushed myself I would have no reason as to why I would not get the results that I had seen others have.

It was not easy but I had also made the commitment to be in a group and follow it for the 21 Days. The best part was that it was checking in each day that made me stay on track. During the 21 Day Fix I learned how to portion control and I was finally eating properly for the first time ever. I was using food to fuel my body and not just starving myself to get thin but eating to gain strength.

The other big change was Shakeology. I have had a lot of shakes and I looked at this as just another shake system. For the first time, I had a shake that really kept me full for up to 4 hours and killed my sugar cravings. Since then I try to never miss a day of Shakeology. If I miss a day or two, I am not a happy camper. This is my morning fuel! It is not the cheapest shake out there but it is worth every penny and cheaper than a latte.

After the 21 Days, I had lost the 15 pounds that I wanted and was ready to share it with everyone. I decided to start running my own challenge groups via Beachbody coachng and could not wait to help other women feel the same renewed spirit that I did!

I want to help you become the best version of YOU in 2016. Not New Year, New You but New Year Better YOU!!

New Year, Better You in 2016. We will start out a week prior to the 21 Days program by having a pre-plan. Join me and I will help you meal plan for the upcoming week and set yourself up for success. This group is in a private and closed Facebook group page, where we will all be able to help and support each other. You will be required to replace one of your meals a day with Shakeology for the 21 Days. I am aiming to help you overhaul your lifestyle, no more diets. This is a change for the long-term and you should look at it that way. The program may be 21 Days but you will be taking tools away from it that will last forever.

What is expected of you?

  1. I must be your assigned Team Beachbody Coach. If you already have a coach please contact them about any challenge groups that they may have lined up. If you do not have a coach, make me your coach by signing up HERE.
  2. You must commit to both the fitness program and to drinking Shakeology every single day of the group.
  3. You must be willing to participate in the group daily.
  4. I am only accepting those that are ready and willing to make lifestyle changes. You have to want to make a change.
  5. Have an open mind!

Believe me when I tell you, I have been there. I know that it is hard to believe that this is going to work! I was the type of person that tried every fad diet and trend. I also thought this was just another diet that I would lose a little weight and gain it all back. When I decided to commit and give it my all, that is when it all changed. This is not a fad diet, it is a change that you can live with and keep going with forever. I promise. The best part is it takes up a fraction of my day and it works!!

What a lunch might look like on a 21 Day Fix Meal Plan

21 Day Fix Meal Plan Sample! I get asked quite often about my meal plans and I thought it was time I shared one with you guys. I am also excited and pumped to have new challengers in my 21 Day Fix groups and love to share my meal plans with them. The 21 Day Fix program has truly changed my life and the lives of my challenge group participants.

I am already a clean eater and know what foods to eat. I kind of struggled with knowing how much of those foods to eat. I can definitely over do it on portion sizes of those healthy foods and believe it or not, that still effects your waist line! The portion control containers with the program are truly a game changer for anyone that tries them.

I always recommend that once you have the 21 Day Fix program guide that you sit down and read it. Get to know the nutrition plan before you start thinking about what you are going to eat. You container allowance is based on your weight and the calories that you are burning off with the 30 minute workouts!

Once you know your container allowance, you go through the list of foods allowed in each container. There is a lot to choose from and makes meal planning fun for me every week! There is so much variety and anyone that has been on a food plan, knows that variety is really important. Without a variety of foods to eat from, you will probably get bored and stray.

I do not eat out of my containers, I use them to measure out my food before each meal. I do know that a lot of my challengers using the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan, use the containers to take the food to work in. Since I work at home, that has not been the case for me. Every time I measure out my food I am always pretty shocked at how much food I get!

21 Day Fix Meal Plan also gives allowances for treats such as a glass of wine!! This is something I do take advantage of on the weekend. Do not drink wine every day but you can have it during the week if you want to trade it for a carb count.

The awesome 21 Day Fix guide also comes with some recipes and gives you ideas for seasonings as well. On top of that there is a guide for eating out at restaurants in case that does happen during your 21 day plan. How awesome is that?

I think the hardest part is keeping track of the container count but there is an app for that! Also, within my group I have tally sheets you can use those to keep track of what containers you have already used that day. This is awesome for people who need to see things visually.

With the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan and really any program you need to plan things out. Like they say if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I sit down and plan out all of my meals for the week. If you do it this way, you are less likely to be searching for food options during the week. You will already know what you are eating next, snacks included!

I can not believe, I have already been registering people for January Challenge Groups!! Where has the time gone?

We have 2 really great challenge groups going currently and I can not wait to start the upcoming groups! If you are looking to make a change, do not wait until after the holidays. Start now! Here are some of the options I have for December and January:

21 Day Fix Challenge Group: This has been the most popular group that I run. 21 Day Fix is popular for a reason, it really works! The Master’s Hammer and Chisel

The Master’s Hammer and Chisel is the newest fitness program from Beachbody and I am so pumped to start this group! Anyone that follows me knows how much I love Autumn Calabrese and swear by her 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme programs. I have not done Body Beast by Sagi Kalev but have only heard amazing things about the results. Mixing both trainers styles together is going to be a game changer! Between the strength, flexibility, endurance that I have achieved and the portion control eating system that I have mastered from Autumn. I can not wait to see what is next! For me and my clients these programs have been life changing and I can only imagine how The Master’s Hammer and Chisel will help us step up our game in all aspects.

The Master’s Hammer and Chisel will launch tomorrow (December 1st) and I know that I will be online with so many others, trying to get my hands on a copy of the program. There has been 2 workouts on Beachbody on Demand for preview and I can tell you they are awesome. The preview has only made me more excited to try the full program. Jon just recently became a Beachbody coach and he is really killing it! I could not be more proud of him. We have decided to team up and run a Hammer and Chisel group together. We want to help people like you (guys and gals) to get the best results possible out of the program. We will keep you on track!!

You are probably asking yourself what is The Master’s Hammer and Chisel and what does it come with?

Hammer and Chisel is a 60 Day complete body changing program put together by 2 of the best fitness experts out there. Sagi Kalev and Autumn Calabrese are experts in the field of sculpting and building better bodies. The Master’s Hammer and Chisel is built on the three phases of SSP Training— Stabilization, Strength, and Power. Other workouts only focus on one or two phases, which might give you decent results. But The Master’s Hammer and Chisel program incorporates all three methods to help you relentlessly chip away fat and carve every muscle for a strong, visually stunning body in 60 days. The workouts are only 30-40 minutes, this is perfect for me and I know my clients will love the length. Not many of us have time to work out longer than that!

There is equipment needed for this program and if you have done at home programs before you probably own most if not all of it.  You will need a few dumbbells, a bench or a stability ball and a chin-up bar or resistance band with a door attachment kit. Optional items would be Shakeology (as always, the most favorite drink/meal of the day) and Beachbody Performance for better endurance, stamina, focus, and recovery.

Recovering after a long weekend

Happy Monday!! Let’s talk about weekend or more importantly long weekends. Thanksgiving is coming up for those of us in the U.S and we all know that this is where a lot of our eating habits go out the window. We have all been there and feel horrible afterwards. Do not lose sight of your goals, you can get back on track.

Here are some tips to recovering after a long weekend:

  1.  Meal Plan for the days after. So you ate too many treats and indulged in some extra whipped cream on your pumpkin pie.  You will be ok and you can get over this 🙂 You have a whole new week to plan out and get yourself back on track. No one wants to meal plan during the holidays so write-up a meal plan the week before and be prepared to prep it after it is all over. Left overs can be made into really healthy meals for that week. What about a big pot of yummy Turkey soup!
  2. On the holiday do not eat before bed. We all indulge over a holiday weekend, I try to have my main meal at least 3-4 hours before my bedtime. This way I am not going to bed stuffed and I have time to work off some of that food. A great idea is to go on a family walk after dinner. I love to do this during the holidays and it is a great time to get in some exercise with valuable family time included.
  3. Activities, activities, activities. Yep, I said it. Get up on the morning after and get moving! I totally understand that the last thing you want to do the morning after a holiday is wake up and exercise. Believe me, once you do it, you will feel so much better. I find a sweat session is sometimes the best cure for too much wine the night before! Get out your running shoes and hit the pavement or check out Beachbody On Demand. You can stream so many workouts (PIYO,  21 Day Fix, Insanity and so many others) in your own home. There is also a 30 day free membership!  This is awesome because you can use it anywhere, even while you are visiting family out-of-town. What ever you end up doing, just do it 🙂
  4. Hydrate! This is such an important step in recovering after a holiday. Drink as much water as you can. It will help to flush out all of the toxins from the holidays and help you to get over that holiday hangover that you may have. I can never get enough water but if you are not a water fan, add lemon or some fruit. Infused water is awesome and tasty!

The other option is to be prepared a head of time. Do not give in and have enough healthy options that you will still have a great time celebrating but will not derail your health and fitness journey. I will be posting many healthy holiday options over the next 6 weeks. November Clean Eating Mommy Challenge Groups

Good Afternoon ladies!! I am super excited for the upcoming groups that I have planned for you guys. October has been the best month that we have had so far and it is only getting better. This months challengers have been experiencing great results and I have never seen so much positivity coming out of them! This has only lit my fire even more and I have great things coming up for my challenge groups in November.

Why chose November to get started on your fitness journey?

A lot of people want to get their health and nutrition in line before we hit the holidays. It will make going through the holidays a lot easier if you have a good knowledge of nutrition and fitness. Also it is great to have a group of people to motivate and keep you on track daily. Do not let the holidays ruin your goals!

21 Day Fix Challenge Group:  this remains my most popular group. Why is it so popular? I have found that 21 Day Fix is the best program to get your nutrition and fitness in line. The portion control has been such a life changer for me. I am obsessed with it!! I also can not live without my Shakeology. I was a skeptic in the beginning but last month due to our move my Shakeology got lost and I was miserable! I did not know what an impact it had on my day until I lost it. My hubby started the workouts this month and I cannot wait to share his results with everyone when he is done!!

We will be doing 21 Day Fix twice in November. The start dates are November 2nd and November 23rd. Join me and the dozens of other ladies that have already made the commitment to me and this group. We will do this together!

5 Day Clean Eating Group: This will be a new group for me and I am so excited to be running it. This month I did a Clean Eating and Shakeology Group and love it. The difference with this group will be that anyone can join! You will have the option to purchase the Shakeology Sampler but even if you chose not to, you can join us. In this group we will commit to eating clean, working out 30 minutes a day, drinking out water and motivating each other. This group will start on November 9th. Just in time for a pre-Thanksgiving detox 🙂 Edited: I changed the date from the 16th to the 9th!
