So, if you try one and it is not for you, then you can try another, and another. This way you can always find something that you enjoy doing. I love that I can switch my program monthly or even daily if I want to!

Plus, I will help you find a workout that you will really enjoy, fits your specific fitness level, and the amount of time that you have during the week to devote to your workout program. The Master’s Hammer and Chisel

The Master’s Hammer and Chisel is the newest fitness program from Beachbody and I am so pumped to start this group! Anyone that follows me knows how much I love Autumn Calabrese and swear by her 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme programs. I have not done Body Beast by Sagi Kalev but have only heard amazing things about the results. Mixing both trainers styles together is going to be a game changer! Between the strength, flexibility, endurance that I have achieved and the portion control eating system that I have mastered from Autumn. I can not wait to see what is next! For me and my clients these programs have been life changing and I can only imagine how The Master’s Hammer and Chisel will help us step up our game in all aspects.

The Master’s Hammer and Chisel will launch tomorrow (December 1st) and I know that I will be online with so many others, trying to get my hands on a copy of the program. There has been 2 workouts on Beachbody on Demand for preview and I can tell you they are awesome. The preview has only made me more excited to try the full program. Jon just recently became a Beachbody coach and he is really killing it! I could not be more proud of him. We have decided to team up and run a Hammer and Chisel group together. We want to help people like you (guys and gals) to get the best results possible out of the program. We will keep you on track!!

You are probably asking yourself what is The Master’s Hammer and Chisel and what does it come with?

Hammer and Chisel is a 60 Day complete body changing program put together by 2 of the best fitness experts out there. Sagi Kalev and Autumn Calabrese are experts in the field of sculpting and building better bodies. The Master’s Hammer and Chisel is built on the three phases of SSP Training— Stabilization, Strength, and Power. Other workouts only focus on one or two phases, which might give you decent results. But The Master’s Hammer and Chisel program incorporates all three methods to help you relentlessly chip away fat and carve every muscle for a strong, visually stunning body in 60 days. The workouts are only 30-40 minutes, this is perfect for me and I know my clients will love the length. Not many of us have time to work out longer than that!

There is equipment needed for this program and if you have done at home programs before you probably own most if not all of it.  You will need a few dumbbells, a bench or a stability ball and a chin-up bar or resistance band with a door attachment kit. Optional items would be Shakeology (as always, the most favorite drink/meal of the day) and Beachbody Performance for better endurance, stamina, focus, and recovery.

What do you need to be added to The Master’s Hammer and Chisel Group?

  • Either Joanne (Me) or Jon (my hubby) must be your assigned Beachbody coach. If you do not have a coach already then head on over to my coach page and sign up for your FREE Team Beachbody account. If you already have a Beachbody coach, please reach out to them and see if they are running a Master’s Hammer and Chisel group.
  • Message me over on my Facebook Page Clean Eating Mommy and let’s chat so that we can make sure that this program is the right fit for you.
  • To participate in this group you must commit to The Master’s Hammer and Chisel for 60 days (starting Jan. 4th). This will include the 60 day workout program, program manual, nutrition guide, workout schedule, Shakeology and a discount price that will be announced tomorrow!!
  • Committing to a private VIP Facebook group. You must be willing to check in to the group everyday, log your workout, rate your nutrition for the day, get and give support to others in the group. If you commit to this I will be helping out with meal planning, meal prep tips, motivation for you to get results and we will be there to hold you accountable so that you will get the best possible results that you can get!

Recovering after a long weekend

Happy Monday!! Let’s talk about weekend or more importantly long weekends. Thanksgiving is coming up for those of us in the U.S and we all know that this is where a lot of our eating habits go out the window. We have all been there and feel horrible afterwards. Do not lose sight of your goals, you can get back on track.

Here are some tips to recovering after a long weekend:

  1.  Meal Plan for the days after. So you ate too many treats and indulged in some extra whipped cream on your pumpkin pie.  You will be ok and you can get over this 🙂 You have a whole new week to plan out and get yourself back on track. No one wants to meal plan during the holidays so write-up a meal plan the week before and be prepared to prep it after it is all over. Left overs can be made into really healthy meals for that week. What about a big pot of yummy Turkey soup!
  2. On the holiday do not eat before bed. We all indulge over a holiday weekend, I try to have my main meal at least 3-4 hours before my bedtime. This way I am not going to bed stuffed and I have time to work off some of that food. A great idea is to go on a family walk after dinner. I love to do this during the holidays and it is a great time to get in some exercise with valuable family time included.
  3. Activities, activities, activities. Yep, I said it. Get up on the morning after and get moving! I totally understand that the last thing you want to do the morning after a holiday is wake up and exercise. Believe me, once you do it, you will feel so much better. I find a sweat session is sometimes the best cure for too much wine the night before! Get out your running shoes and hit the pavement or check out Beachbody On Demand. You can stream so many workouts (PIYO,  21 Day Fix, Insanity and so many others) in your own home. There is also a 30 day free membership!  This is awesome because you can use it anywhere, even while you are visiting family out-of-town. What ever you end up doing, just do it 🙂
  4. Hydrate! This is such an important step in recovering after a holiday. Drink as much water as you can. It will help to flush out all of the toxins from the holidays and help you to get over that holiday hangover that you may have. I can never get enough water but if you are not a water fan, add lemon or some fruit. Infused water is awesome and tasty!

The other option is to be prepared a head of time. Do not give in and have enough healthy options that you will still have a great time celebrating but will not derail your health and fitness journey. I will be posting many healthy holiday options over the next 6 weeks.
