New Year, New You??

New Year, New You?? Not this lady!! How about New Year, Better Version of YOU??

That really fits more with my mindset. I do not want to be a completely different person, I am finally at a place where I LOVE the woman I have become. That was a lot of hard work but I got here. But we can all use a few improvements right?

I have come along way and for those of you that are new to this page. Let me share a little with you. I could write a novel but I will try to keep it shorter than that HAHA

I grew up overweight and with very low self-esteem
I lost weight in my 20s through a series of yo-yo diets that turned into a 2 year battle with starvation that alternated with bulimia.
Then became skinny and still not happy……
Met my hubby fell in love and entered my blissful honeymoon phase hahahaha but was still not loving myself
Became exercise obsessed. Used the elliptical at the gym for up to 3 hours a day (how did I find the time???)
Became pregnant with my daughter and enjoyed a very healthy and relaxed pregnancy
C-section birth and could not exercise!!! This was a struggle for me. Once given the ok I had a fear of exercising and tearing the incision so I waited an extra 2 months!
Lost all the baby weight with breast-feeding only to gain it all back when I stopped breast-feeding (damn hormones!!)
Joined my first online home fitness challenge group. Lost 15 pounds in 21 Days and finally found something I could live with. Hello 30 minutes a day of exercise!! Balanced diet…. still drink wine and eat chocolate!!! YASSS
Started my own coaching business and challenge groups. Began paying it forward and loving on others through their struggles
Began working on my mindset with personal development. READ something everyday or listen to a PODCAST

❤️Present day…. totally healthy, happy and freaking so OBSESSED with my life I would not trade it with anyone. Dead serious not even… with one of the Kardashians hahahaha (my guilty pleasure show)

Why am I sharing this with you? Because I want you to know that it was not always easy. I was not always where I am now. You can rise above your struggles. Sometimes you need a little help and guidance to get there!!

If you had told me 10 years ago, I would have the life that I have now I would have never ever in a MILLION years believed it.

I thought I would always be struggling with my body and always in a negative head space. You can change. You need to start believing!! If any of this resonates with you, know that you are not alone.

I am always here to help
